From time to time members may wish to apply to the branch for a financial assistance grant. This is a service that the branch can consider for a branch member should the need arise.

If you think that you need financial assistance and meet the criteria below, contact any branch Committee member directly. The Branch Chair will discuss your request with you and if considered appropriate will review with the committee, a reply will be sent to you as soon as is possible. See all details below:-

DETAILS:

What is the grant – The Cirencester and Stroud PUK branch committee is prepared to give a £100 Grant.

What is it for – any item or expense which would help ease living for someone with Parkinson’s.

Who can apply – Any branch member who has an identified opportunity to help their standard of life, but cannot take it up due to financial constraints.

What are the conditions

The applicant must explain the need for the expenditure.

The expenditure has not yet been made.

The applicant must explain their financial requirement.

The applicant has not received a grant in the previous 12 months

How to apply

Initially make contact with any Cirencester and Stroud branch committee member.

The applicant will then be contacted by the branch Chair who will discuss the situation.

It will be necessary for the Chair to confirm the benefit, need and expenditure.

If the grant is approved by the Chair, then basic information will be provided to the committee to complete approval.

The applicant will be required to sign a simple form of acceptance which will be sent to the applicant.

Money will be paid into the grantees nominated bank account.
