Please come and join us at Croft House on Sunday 7th June 2pm – 5pm. Enjoy the Arboretum, all for a great cause.
We want to raise awareness of Parkinson’s for people living with the condition in our area. Donations contributed on the day all help our work.
The arboretum at the Croft House, Somerford Keynes was created in November 1999 as a millennium project in 3 acres of ground. It has as its unique centrepiece an arc of 20 trees, each representing a specific century over the last 2000 years. The ‘Millennium Avenue’ is surrounded by a variety of unusual trees representing aspects of the owners’ lives and their special interest in oaks and limes.
Up to 3 guided tours of 20-30 minutes will be offered at 2.15pm, 3.15pm and 4.15pm for an additional donation. Maximum of 15 people per tour. Cream teas will also be available.
